Timing & Deadlines

Why is the return window only 2 days for loose diamonds?

Our certified diamonds are sourced from global manufacturers with very strict 10-day inspection periods. To ensure we can verify the diamond’s unique laser inscription and return it to the source safely within their window, we require you to initiate your request within 48 hours of delivery.

Does the 2-day or 7-day window include weekends?

Yes, the window is based on calendar days starting from the moment the tracking shows "Delivered." If your window ends on a weekend, please email us at rj-support@radiance-jewels.com immediately. We will timestamp your request and "freeze" the clock until the next business day.

I’m planning a surprise proposal in a few weeks. Can I get a return extension?

Because we deal with certified, high-value assets subject to manufacturer timelines, we generally cannot extend these windows. To ensure you are fully covered by our policy, we recommend timing your purchase as close to your proposal date as possible.

Custom & Special Orders

If I use the online "Design Your Own" tool, is the ring still returnable?

Items created through our "3C" (Choose, Change, Create) system are built specifically for you and are considered Final Sale. We encourage you to reach out to our experts before finalizing a custom design to ensure every detail is perfect.

Can I return a ring if I had it resized by my local jeweler?

No. Any third-party alterations—including resizing, engraving, or soldering—void the return policy. To remain eligible for a return, the piece must be in its original, unaltered condition.

What happens if I lose the GIA or AGSL grading report?

A diamond cannot be returned without its original grading report. These documents are unique to your specific stone; if lost, a replacement fee of $150–$300 may apply, or the item may be deemed non-returnable.

Shipping & Fees

Why is there a $25 fee for the return shipping label?

This fee covers fully insured, expedited shipping. Standard mail does not provide the level of security required for fine jewelry. Our prepaid labels ensure your return is tracked and protected every step of the way.

What is "Double-Boxing" and why is it required?

Double-boxing involves placing your jewelry box inside a small shipping box, which is then placed inside a medium shipping box. This is a industry-standard security measure that prevents the inner contents from being identified or damaged during transit.

Is there a restocking fee?

Returns initiated within our 2-day (diamonds) or 7-day (jewelry) windows incur no restocking fees. However, returns accepted outside these windows at our discretion are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover manufacturer processing costs.
